- Open up the Windows Registry Editor then click Start > Run
- In the dialog box, type regedit then press ENTER.
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
- Find the D- word named DisableLockWorkstation under Winlogon registry key.
- Modify the value to 1 from 0. Follow the below picture.
- Click OK, close the registry window then restart system.
